Vi var 7 piger afsted som varmt vil anbefale Luisa og Colins bolig!! Parret var søde, imødekommende, gav gode råd til alt hvad vi spurgte om angående det lokale, Pisa, Lucca mm. Der var hvad vi behøvede i boligen, vi fik prøvet pizzaovn med gode instrukser fra værten, brugt poolen en masse, som var lige efter vores smag med fuld sol hele dagen. Køreturen op til boligen er lige en tilvænning og hvis man ankommer i bil vil jeg blot anbefale at ankomme i dagslys da det er lige til den skræmmende side at køre bakken for første gang i mørke, dog var Colin der til at tage imod og hjalp gerne! Efter et par gange har man vænnet sig til det, så man skal ikke lade det skræmme en væk – til info lejede vi to små biler.

What a hidden gem! Both Luisa and Colin are the loveliest couple you could meet! A hidden treasure in the heart of Tuscany with a fantastic view and pool!

We hebben ontzettend genoten van de prachtige plek, de rust, de vogelgeluiden in de ochtend, de heerlijk geurende jasmijn, het uitzicht, het gezellige buitenterrein, het zwembad met de ligstoelen.

Luisa en Colin zijn zeer hartelijk en gastvrij. Ze lieten ons erg vrij en waren snel beschikbaar voor vragen.

Erg leuk dat we de pizza-oven en de barbecue konden gebruiken, onze oudste zoon heeft het hiermee erg naar z’n zin gehad.

De slaapkamers zijn ruim en groot, met openslaande deuren en balkons.

La Lucertola ist ein kleines Paradies, wunderschön gelegen, mit Blick auf und über Pisa. Die Ferienwohnung und das ganze Gelände waren sehr geschmackvoll angelegt und eingerichtet. Vielen Dank – wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt mit der ganzen Familie und würden uns sehr freuen, nochmal wiederkehren zu können!

We had the best time at Luisa and Colin’s villa. The views from the villa are breathtaking and like nothing we had experienced before.

The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed during our stay.

We didn’t have a car during this stay, but it didn’t hold us back.

You need to be organised regarding travel, but there is a bus stop at the end of the road and taxis which were very accommodating.

Luisa is spectacular at communication and even did the first initial shop for us which was so lovely.

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed.

The music studio was an incredible addition – we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around.

Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located – overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities.

Other great facilities worth mentioning – the pizza oven is such an experience – to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too.

Luisa and Colin are very friendly and helpful. Always responsive and very informative. We were in good hands from the start.

The place has a beautiful view and a lovely location – close to both the charming city of Lucca and the famous leaning tower of Pisa.

We enjoyed our stay with two small babies and the place is definitely recommendable for families looking for an extraordinary location for their next holiday in Tuscany.

We highly recommend this place!

This place is great! The views are amazing, and the pool is lovely. House itself is very clean and tidy and has all necessities needed. Everything went very smoothly from the check-in to leaving. Colin and Luisa were If you want to be in an amazing place do not miss to stay at Luisa’s place “La Lucertola” The route is a bit challenging to drive but you get used to it the second time. The place is peaceful, perfect to disconnect, get in contact with nature, enjoy wonderful views of Toscany and Pisa and most importantly get great memories while swimming in the pool, having a relaxing meal in the garden, doing bbq or cooking pizza with the family! The house is big, comfortable and clean. We were traveling with a baby and we had all the need to feel at home! Thank you Luisa and Colin!

Great place and hospitality from Luisa. We enjoyed our weekend getaway! She was quick to respond to our questions and meet our needs. It was kid friendly, the pool was nice, and making pizzas in the oven was fun! The place is comforting with amazing views! Be aware it’s not direct or easy access to the lovely home, however it’s well worth it.

La Lucertola is a piece of heaven in Tuscany!

A very beautiful and clean house, equipped with everything you need.
The view is simply indescribably beautiful. Luisa and Colin are such lovely hosts.
Cities like Pisa, Lucca or Florence are easy to reach and the sea is not far away. We will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Luisa! She and Colin have done a great job making it homely AND special! We really liked the space and how it was decorated. The fresh pears, tomatoes, basil, and rosemary were a nice bonus. The wood-fired pizza oven was really great and the pool with a shower from the olive tree – wow – fantastic! Next to that everything was spotlessly clean and it was very handy that detergent and the like were available. A lovely place And we will certainly recommend it to friends !
